The Challenge
Biomedical applications such as clinical diagnostics, liquid biopsy, and translational research critically depend on the efficient isolation and enrichment of target biomarkers from complex biological fluids, suspensions, or solutions. However, current sample preparation approaches are often labor-intensive, time-consuming, and poorly scalable, limiting their suitability for routine or large-scale clinical implementation.
Our Solution
Our technology combines a compact, reusable magnetic device with a specialized Halbach-array design that delivers up to 100× higher magnetic field gradients compared to conventional systems of the same size. This enables rapid, high purity, and highly selective biomarker isolation from body fluids and biological samples.
Functionalized magnetic nanoparticles provide selectivity and broad adaptability across diverse biomarker targets. The system minimizes dead volume, reduces matrix effects, and maximizes sample concentration.
With its compact, portable form factor, the device is fully compatible with standard laboratory containers and workflows, ensuring seamless integration, from benchtop research to scalable high-throughput sample preparation for clinical diagnostics and omics applications.
