Paolo Gargini: "CNT transistors will ..be crowned as the new long-term switch"

In a March 2017 article "How to Successfully Overcome Inflection Points, or Long Live Moore's Law" Paolo Gargini, who is chairman of IRDS and the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors (ITRS) mentioned: " CNTs have continued to make excellent progress and could become the most viable switch (simultaneously achieving energy reduction and performance improvement) later in the next decade".

This is in line with estimations that we have published in 2003 in a paper called "Carbon Nanotubes in Microelectronic Applications"
