TUM Entdeckerinnen is a program designed to get female students excited about STEM degree programs.
As part of this program, female students set up their own station to measure air quality. Over the course of two days, the participants gained their first practical insights into electrical engineering:
Starting with soldering the circuit boards, programming the microcontroller, and reading the data, an exciting project was realized.
During a visit to the Department of Environmental Sensors, the students also gained insight into research on air quality in Munich at TUM.
Many thanks to Prof. Jia Chen and Adrian Wenzel for this.
