Simon Adrian won the 3rd place in the Student Paper Competition of the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation in Vancouver, Canada, with his contribution "A Hermitian and Well-Conditioned EFIE for Fast Iterative and Direct Solvers". This year, 173 papers were submitted to the competition. With more than 1250 contributions, it is one of the most important conferences in the area of radio science.
