We have developed and established a worldwide unique, fully automated sensor network in Munich, including 5 solar-tracking Fourier transform spectrometers, 20 mid-cost CO2 sensor systems, 100 low-cost CO2 sensors, 20 low-cost air quality sensor systems, and 2 mobile measurement units.
With the multi-scale sensor network, we can detect unaccounted sources and monitor emission trends, and therefore provide timely feedback for a measurable and effective climate policy!
