The dissertation award of the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft is awarded annually to young scientists for excellent dissertations in the field of information technology. Special emphasis for the evaluation is given to originality, theoretical and practical treatment of the topic, way of representation and form as well as impact of the work. The applicants should not be older than 32 years and be a member of VDE ITG.
