Antennas are crucial in our everyday life. They are needed in mobile communication, air traffic control, and satellite technology. With his research at the Technical University of Munich, Dr.-Ing. Josef Knapp builds new foundations to measure the radiated fields of an antenna - even in scenarios which were previously not feasible. His dissertation has already won multiple awards, now also the VDE Bayern Award 2022.
