Synopsis: The goal of this project, funded by the DFG major instrumentation initiative 'Quantum Communication Development Environment', is to set up a shared facility for benchmarking of building blocks for quantum communication technologies, exploring the interplay of different buiding blocks and the development and testing of protocols under real-world conditions.
