Open Positions
We are always looking for motivated researchers and students who are passionate about advancing healthcare technologies through interdisciplinary research in sensing, microfluidics, and data science.
If you’re interested in joining our team as a PhD candidate, postdoctoral researcher, HiWi (student assistant), or for a Master’s thesis, we encourage you to reach out.
We welcome applicants with backgrounds in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry, physics, informatics, or related fields.
Current openings (if any) will be listed below.

Master Thesis: Hardware Architect for Wearable Metabolic Sensing (VO2 Max)
Field: Embedded Systems / Sensor Electronics Start: Immediate / Flexible
The Mission We are taking VO2 max out of the clinic and onto the athlete. We are building a fully wearable face mask to measure metabolic health in real-time. We need you to take full ownership of the hardware implementation for one of our core respiratory sensors.
Your Challenge
- Own the Subsystem: Select and implement the drive circuitry for a specific sensor module.
- Shrink the Tech: Design a miniaturized PCB as add-on to our system.
- Close the Loop: Write efficient firmware for data acquisition and validate your module's accuracy against gold-standard reference equipment.
You Bring
- Background in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems.
- Confidence in PCB design (KiCad preferred).
- Interest in medical instrumentation and sensor physics.
