Research

Our research focuses on the electronic transport in (bio-) molecular, memristive and superconducting quantum systems. We employ various methods of thin-film technology, as well as molecular and colloidal self-assembly to realize novel functional electronic systems. Current major focus areas include the study of DC quantum transport phenomena in organic-inorganic hybrid thin-film structures and the development of nanoscale resistive switching devices. In the field of quantum technology we investigate the performance of superconducting qubit components.
