IEEE Ultrasonics Early Career Investigator Award

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Amelie Hagelauer won the 2021 IEEE UFFC Early Career Investigator Award! Prof. Hagelauer graduated in 2007 with her diploma thesis at the Institute for Electronics Engineering (LTE) at Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen. In 2013, she received her PhD at LTE and subsequently worked as a group leader and postdoctoral fellow at the chair. In 2019, she was appointed to the W3 professorship "Communication Electronics" at the University of Bayreuth. Since September 1, 2021, she has headed the Chair of Micro- and Nanosystems Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The appointment was made jointly by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Microsystems and Solid State Technologies (EMFT).
