Curriculum Vitae
Julia studied bioengineering (concentration in biosensors and electronic devices) at Oakland University in Michigan, USA. After graduation in 2018, she worked for several years as a systems engineer in the automotive industry. As a part of an international rotational program, she worked in both the US and Germany, on projects in the areas of wearable device integration, smart city development, and physiological data acquisition. Julia joined the Elite Master of Science in Neuroengineering program at TUM in 2020, and completed her masters thesis in February 2023 with Neuroengineering Materials group. In March 2023, Julia started her PhD with the Neuroengineering Materials group, and also joined the management team of the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM). At CDTM, Julia teaches the graduate course “Managing Product Development”.
Julia's research in the Kozielski Lab focuses on the design and integration of magnetic coil systems for nanoparticle stimulation.
