About us

The Department of Electrical Engineering at the School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is one of the leading teaching and research institutions for electrical engineering in Germany. We design and realize innovative processes, components and systems for communication and information technology, healthcare, mobility, energy supply, agriculture and environmental technology.
With the ZEITlab , we are THE technology hub of the TUM School of CIT. It enables us to turn ideas into manufacturing processes and prototypes as quickly as possible. This benefits our students as well as Munich as an industrial location with numerous technology companies.
