Your tasks...
The project focuses on the development of laser-assisted MOF-derived porous nanocomposites for multifunctional peripheral nerve interfaces capable of electrochemical stimulation, recording, and sensing. The successful candidate will work on laser-MOF interaction, and the development of functional electrode materials for implantable neural interfaces. The work includes MOF synthesis and optimization, integration onto relevant substrates, laser-assisted conversion on polymer-based platforms, and electrochemical testing.

We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious applicants with an excellent master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Experimental Physics, or a related field. Experience in MOF synthesis, porous or nanostructured materials, laser processing, electrochemistry, or materials characterization is desirable.
