150 Years of Electrical and Computer Engineering
TUM is celebrating 150 years of Electrical and Computer Engineering this year. As part of the anniversary program, we had the opportunity to participate in an exhibition at the Deutsches Museum and present our research.
At the two stations hosted by our chair, visitors explored neural interface technologies hands-on. One station featured a gelatin brain model where attendees could implant different types of intracortical probes. The second station showcased our self-folding cuff electrodes with integrated connectors for interfacing small peripheral nerves and included a live demonstration of neural recordings from locusts carrying implanted electrodes.
Many thanks to Lukas, Defne and Julia for your great work!
